Dear colleagues,

2nd Annual International Iasi Arrhythmia Forum 2021 (IAF) will be held in Iasi, Romania, between March 31- April 4, 2021. This conference is scheduled immediately after the EHRA Congress 2021 to allow international speakers to consolidate travelling.

The IAF is designed to further the training of electrophysiologists in Romania and the larger region of Eastern and Central Europe. The programme is designed to cover all essential areas of electrophysiology from simple to complex. In addition, this year, there will be two special sessions included: Inherited Arrhythmias and Cardiomyopathies and On the beaten path: Conduction system pacingAn important number of international lecturers responded to the invitation to join us, but given the restrictions generated by the COVID-19 pandemic, the event will be organized in webinar format using the ZOOM platform. Details on how to connect and operate the event will be communicated by the organizers in the vicinity of the event.

Iasi, Romania’s second largest city, is the most important political, economic and cultural centre of the province of Moldavia. It is one of the oldest cities in Romania and the a historical capital of Romania.The city is bubbling with youtful energy as one of the leading academic center. Iasi is cultural delight packed with historic buildings and stunning churches (over 100 Orthodox churches) and monasteries. The region has a long and decorated wine making tradition with cellars dating back to the time of Stephen the Great (1457-1504). Iasi is a laid-back destination that’s always a joy to visit.
